Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Fold ("App", "we", "our") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about what we collect and how we use it.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Fold is designed with a privacy-first approach. The App collects and stores the following types of information LOCALLY on your device only:

  • Betting Records: Dates, amounts, outcomes, sportsbook names, sport types, and notes you enter.
  • Fantasy Sports Entries: Platform names, buy-ins, payouts, and related data.
  • Sobriety Data: Your streak start date, weekly loss estimates, and check-in history.
  • App Preferences: Theme settings, notification preferences, currency selection, and display configurations.
  • Bankroll Information: Bankroll names, balances, and associated records.

We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any of this data to external servers.

2. AI DATA PROCESSING

The App includes the Fold AI Analyst powered by Google's Gemma 4 E2B. Detailed specifications for the on-device implementation can be found in the LiteRT-LM Model Card. This AI model runs entirely on your device's hardware. Your data is analyzed locally to provide insights; no data is sent to external servers for AI processing, nor is your data used to train any external AI models.

2. DATA STORAGE

All personal data is stored exclusively on your device using Android's local storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences and Room Database). Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it using the App's built-in export features (CSV, PDF, or Word document). We do not operate any cloud infrastructure, backend servers, or remote databases for storing user data.

3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

Fold does NOT collect:

  • Your real name, email address, or phone number
  • Your location or GPS data
  • Your contacts or call history
  • Your browsing history
  • Financial account numbers or banking information
  • Advertising identifiers
  • Analytics or usage telemetry

We have no user accounts, no login system, and no way to identify you personally.

4. PERMISSIONS

The App may request the following device permissions:

  • Notifications: To send daily check-in reminders at your chosen time. This is optional and can be declined.
  • Storage/Files: To export your data as files (CSV, PDF, Word) when you choose to do so.
  • Internet Access: To fetch publicly available lottery jackpot data for display purposes only. No personal data is transmitted.

All permissions are optional and the core App functionality works without them.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App may access publicly available third-party APIs (such as lottery data providers) strictly for informational display. These requests do not include any personal or identifying information. We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.

6. DATA EXPORT AND SHARING

You may choose to export your data at any time using the App's export features. Exported files are saved to your device and shared through your device's standard sharing mechanisms. Once data leaves the App via export, it is governed by the privacy policies of whatever service you share it with (email, cloud storage, messaging apps, etc.).

7. DATA DELETION

You have full control over your data at all times:

  • Individual Records: Delete individual bets or entries within the App.
  • Full Reset: Use the "Reset App" feature in Settings to permanently erase all data.
  • Uninstall: Removing the App from your device deletes all associated data.

There is no recovery process once data is deleted, as we do not maintain backups or copies.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Fold is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has used this App, please uninstall it from their device.

9. SECURITY

Because all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's own security measures (screen lock, device encryption, etc.). We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your device software up to date.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
